An overly long missed opportunity that could have done a much better job at telling us a story and instead opted to skirt around all the stuff that made the book dark and thrilling.

While amusing in places this animated comedy doesn’t have much in the way of value for adults (unlike other movies of this ilk) and we didn’t rush out to get the next two.

Laugh out loud funny in places, but never quite manages to reach the enjoyment value of the first one.

Enjoyable but silly in places, The International never quite gets away from the fact that it’s about the banking industry and yet still manages to entertain sufficiently to make watching it worthwhile.

I don’t turn off many films before getting to the end, but Punisher: War Zone’s dialog and action was so dire and had so few redeeming features that I gave up before the end, judge it on that basis.

It was never going to be easy to turn the Hitchhiker’s Guide into a movie and while it was a decent attempt there are too many changes and not enough laughs to make this a true classic.

Considering the source material and what was asked of the actors, I found Resident Evil to be watchable and enjoyable despite the many flaws, in a world of horrific game-to-movie conversions Resident Evil keeps it’s head just above the sludge.
