It was never going to be easy to turn the Hitchhiker’s Guide into a movie and while it was a decent attempt there are too many changes and not enough laughs to make this a true classic.

Although Transporter 2 fails to live up to the simple charm of the first film, it still manages to keep its head above water and deliver a solid all round piece of action entertainment.

Bale’s grating gravel voice is the only real negative point of this super Batman reboot, it’s silly crazy and brilliantly envisioned.

Keanu does well in a role that could have been created for him, and despite the changes from the source material Constantine is a good interpretation of the comic book with some worthwhile scenes and some surprising twists.

This excellent action comedy delivers a high quality script, excellent interaction between Mr and Mrs Smith themselves and some memerable moments putting it well above the rest of the pack.

For fans of the TV series this movie provides a cathartic experience bound up in an exciting story with solid performances and emotional scenes but people who’ve not seen the TV series may find the lack of back-story troubling and wonder what the fuss is about.
